The e-marketplaces also known as electronic marketplaces are websites that bring together a large number of buyers and sellers from around the world that demand and supply products as if it were a traditional market, but unlike the latter, all interactions are made virtual.
Today many businesses use e-marketplaces to attract new customers, both local and foreign, but also to connect with new suppliers.
As for the possibility of acquiring customers, e-marketplaces serve as sales channels, enabling market and sell our products, usually in exchange for a small fee they charge us the time to put some selling.
Some of the most popular e-marketplaces are eBay and MercadoLibre, where buy and sell a wide variety of products, these e-marketplaces are known as horizontal e-marketplaces.
